Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in Bone colorway
Modifications: None. It is a little large though; I think my gauge is off. I don’t know how to check my gauge though, so I guess it’s gonna have to be a little big :D
My Thoughts: The pattern was all right. I only messed up once, and I accidentally removed both stitch markers while trying to fix my mistake, so I just guessed at where they should go and went from there.
I knit this for my mom as a Christmas present, because there is no way that I will be able to finish her Column of Leaves scarf in time for Christmas. I have only finished 5 repeats so far, so it’s not looking good.
I don’t know when I’ll be finished. Definitely not before Christmas though.
I attempted that pattern a couple of times, and they all were big, until I just cast on a lot fewer stitches. Then it fit fine.
It is a fun knit, even if it doesn’t work out as planned.
